Vancouver Earthquake

On the news today they were discussing this. Seismologists were discussing small quakes in the pacific just off the coast of Vancouver Island, they were saying how these mini quakes could in fact be “gradually unlocking the tension in the Juan de Fucas and North American plates”. This is good news for us all, perhaps we won’t have that BEHEMOTH quake that they’ve all been predicting!

Keep up to date with global earthquake activity.

Does this apply to us here in California? That would be awesome! :)

Where you at Bryan, you’re not in SF are you?

  3. Bryan says:

    Nah, I’m 20 miles outside L.A.

  4. carlo says:

Dude, I know that’s still in the earthquake zone but I am not sure if the Juan De Fucas activity and the North American Plate is relevant to the California area.

I only know that these guys up here are stoked about the minor releases, who know, they could be talking complete and utter bullshit!
