GZip compression in WordPress 2.5

Where has it gone to? If anyone knows where it is please tell him I am looking for him :)
I wanted to test some new caching I’ve been working on that augments GZips compression. Well, perhaps “augments” isn’t a great choice of words, maybe “enhances”.
Did I mention WordPress 2.5 has been released already? ;)

WordPress 2.5 Released

It’s officially out of RC/Test stage. WordPress 2.5 is the latest blogging software version and you can download it for free at WordPress.org. There is also a hosted solution at WordPress.com.
